An important part of a wedding – and often times an important part of many events leading up to the wedding – is transportation. While your wedding will likely be the most memorial day of your life, it can also be the busiest, so planning reliable, stress-free travel is a must for any bride and groom.
One of my favorite transportation services is Expressions Limousines located in Ephrata, Pa. Expressions Limousine is a family owned business founded in 1999 with the simple philosophy to “treat each customer the way we would expect to be treated”. Expressions is fully licensed and insured, with a complete fleet of luxury vehicles and a friendly staff of professional chauffeurs.
Expressions offers a wide array of travel options from classic limos to Hummer Limousines to trolleys and much more, perfect for the wedding day, bachelorette and bachelor parties and assisting out-of-town guest to and from the airport.
Choosing the travel option that is right for your wedding can be as diverse as wedding styles themselves. Consider the size of your wedding party and who else may be riding along with you to ensure your vehicle will accommodate everyone. Also, let your travel style reflect the overall theme of the day. If you’re planning an over-the-top bash, a Hummer limousine will keep your wedding party feeling like high-rollers before the wedding even starts. An elegant affaire may prefer the sleek style of a classic limo. While an outdoor or artistic wedding may enjoy the whimsy of oak benches and brass accents in Expressions’ trolleys.
Expressions offers many choices for your special day, with options to accommodate 6 to 28 passengers. All Wedding Limousines come equipped with water, snacks, soda, non-alcoholic champagne, glassware, coordinated napkin colors, a red carpet, “Just Married” signs and a properly attired driver – all at no extra charge.
You can meet the team at Expression Limousines next Sunday, January 15 at The Best Wedding Showcase, hosted by Renee Kopp at the Host Resort in Lancaster.

The Historic Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, (which is typically not available for weddings) that is, unless you are the Technical Director there, was the site of this fun very theatrical wedding. Samaria and Bill are not only a really cute couple, but they are really good friends of mine and I was so happy when they asked me to photograph their wedding.
It was a very warm and sticky August day which was a good reason to have the wedding and reception all inside the theater. The stars of this wedding were getting ready in their dressing rooms when I arrived. After everyone was ready and things were set, the couple had decided on a First Look before the wedding, and how else could I make it dramatic to match the wedding but to bring the bride down the beautiful stairs. Sounds easy right? Unfortunately about a month and a half before this day, the bride actually broke her foot and unfortunately it wasn’t healing correctly. She was very up for doing the stairs anyway, and we just made sure she took her time.
After a few pictures with them and family, we got everyone tucked away before the guests arrived and were ushered to their seats in the theater. With a flip of the curtain the bride was brought out from backstage in a very grand fashion. It was dramatic and fun, in this ceremony filled with laughs. A short walk to the open, 2 story lobby held the cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception. It was a lot of fun being able to make my way into the action or photograph from above in the balcony area. As you’ll see, things were so much fun that people couldn’t contain themselves and ended up dancing in nontraditional dancing areas. It was a great time and I was so happy to be a part of capturing such a wonderful wedding. Thanks Samaria and Bill!
